These terms govern your use of Wellingham Educonsult’s website, app, and services. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you engage us for counselor-led support, a written engagement summary (including fees) may supplement them.

What Wellingham is

Wellingham is a study-abroad guidance service. Our free tools — university discovery, affordability scores, cost comparison, the scholarship finder, and the AI agent — are open to everyone. Our paid service is counselor-led support: a named counselor working your applications, documents, and visa preparation with you.

What Wellingham is not

• We are not a university and do not issue admissions.
• We are not an embassy or immigration authority and do not issue visas.
• We are not a law firm; nothing we publish is legal or immigration advice.
• We do not guarantee admission, scholarships, or visas — and we never will. We improve your odds with honest preparation; the decisions belong to institutions and governments.

Fees

Free means free: browsing, matching, comparing, the scholarship finder, and the AI agent cost nothing. Counselor-led support is paid, and every fee is stated in writing before you commit. There are no hidden fees. If you win a scholarship, the award is entirely yours — we take no cut. Any refund terms are set out in your engagement summary before payment.

Your responsibilities

• Give us truthful information and authentic documents. If we discover fraudulent documents, we end the engagement — falsified paperwork can permanently damage your visa history.
• Meet the deadlines we flag for you. We track them with you, but submitting on time ultimately depends on you providing what is needed.
• Keep your account credentials safe and your contact details current.

Data and estimates

Costs, scores, scholarship details, and visa statistics on this site are curated estimates for planning, as described in our disclaimer. We are not responsible for changes made by institutions, scholarship bodies, or governments.

Intellectual property

The Wellingham name, logo, site content, and scoring methodology are ours. Your documents remain yours — you grant us permission to store and process them solely to provide the service.

Acceptable use

Don’t scrape the site, probe or disrupt the service, use it for anything unlawful, or misrepresent Wellingham to others.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wellingham is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost opportunities arising from an institution’s or government’s decision), and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the service concerned.

Ending things

You can stop using Wellingham at any time and ask us to delete your data (see the privacy policy). We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
